More session tracks from last night's Later With Jools Holland. I was as impressed with the Arctic Monkeys as I was disappointed with Mylo - okay, I prefer tuneless noisy guitars to dance beats but there's still a lot I listen to but there's something a bit Emperor's-clothes-etc about Mylo, I just don't get it. Oh Elton John likes them, that speaks volumes.
I thought the AMs were excellent though, particularly enjoying the bit where Alex Turner tells everyone the song's not finished as they start cheering through a quiet bit thinking it has. I bet they don't get that much at their gigs these days. Oh and the Los de Abajo latin/ska Fun Boy 3 cover is outstanding, say no more!
